What is inline hockey?

Inline roller hockey or inline hockey is a modern team sport played on tracks made of wood, asphalt, cement or synthetic material. Players use inline skates with four consecutive wheels with which they can reach very high speeds and a stick with which they hit the puck or disc. It was born from the idea of continuing to practice ice hockey in summer, due to the lack of ice at this time of year, so it has some similarities with the sport.
It is a much faster sport than traditional hockey and contact is allowed during the game but in NO way violence.

How to play?

The objective of the game is to score goals in the opponent's goal by playing with a puck, also called a tablet or puck. A goal is obtained when the puck enters completely in one of the goals located in the opposite ends of the track. Players can control the puck using a stick. Players may also redirect or hit the puck with the skate (but do not score with the skate) or play the puck with the hand (without directing).

The teams are organized in lines of four players, having a team around three lines, or what is the same, 12 players. Normally line 1 is the most important.

It is a very demanding sport, so changes are made every two minutes. When there is a change, one player leaves the court and another enters in his or her place.

The goalkeeper is a key part of the team, having to maintain concentration and self-confidence at all times.

A MIXED SPORT

You can play from 3-4 years and there is no age limit, usually at the regional level is played mixed in almost all categories, which makes possible a union between players and players stronger and not sexist to be able to play together, being at national level competition by sexes.
